The symbol of traditional, communal living with touches of clever detail. Bunkbeds set against compact storage units. And at the feet of each bed, louvered/shutter windows, opening out to an unobstructed view of the forest beyond.
Shared bathrooms and a general ‘chill’ space lie beneath. With rattan hammocks and basket seating areas set on the ground level, the opportunities to broaden social interaction is further encouraged.
Built with recycled barn wall boards, demolished school beams, sawmill timber rejects and assorted Belian ironwood scraps.
Capacity - 12 adults per longhouse. (3 longhouses = 36 person capacity)
Facilities - cubicle bathrooms, and fans.
